Jumper is a 2008 science fiction film based on the 1992 novel Jumper by Steven Gould.
A genetic anomaly allows a young man Hayden Christensen as David Rice to teleport himself anywhere.

Hayden Christensen steps into the David Rice role as Jumper mastering the art of jumping and uses it to have lunch atop the Great Sphinx, flirt with chicks in a London pub, surf tubular waves off the coast of Fiji, and take his high-school sweetheart, Millie (Rachel Bilson), around Rome’s top tourist traps. How cool can it be?

He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between “Jumpers” and those who have sworn to kill them.
